Assistant Coffee Roaster, Despatch and Showroom Sales.
We are looking for a bright, ambitious, confident, energetic and dedicated team member who has a Passion for Coffee and café culture and is keen to explore the world of gourmet coffee and specialty leaf tea (knowledge of tea types and grades) in a manufacturing wholesale business . Do you have the ability to multi task with high attention to detail?
Duties & Responsibilities
Developing a knowledge of green bean qualities, maintaining roast records and roasting room to high standard, using computerised roasting profiles and occasional mechanical maintenance. Some initiative and focus required.
Well presented person with good customer relationship appeal who is possibly looking to move on from café role. Hospitality and Food Handling experience a benefit.
Forklift use (walk behind- training provided) - some production of bulk teas - un-stuffing 20ft containers into warehouse
Booking in freight and some despatch of tea & coffee orders
Pulling & putting stock away (some heavy lifting may be required with aid of equipment or another staff member)
Meeting production deadlines.
High computer skills an advantage
HACCP daily production paperwork and warehouse cleaning
Excellent written and communication skills
Opportunity for progression
Must have full driver's licence.
